More Murder in Lebanon, Missouri
Another little boy and his Mommy have joined Jonathan on their way to Heaven.
Just 2-3 miles from my home, they were beaten to death in their own home while Blake's brother was in another room unaware of what was happening. The Father was found hours later in a car that had driven off an embankment into a rock quarry.
Little Blake was a fifth grader; 11 years old. His brother is only 8 years old.
I first and foremost ask that you all pray right here and now for this little 8 year old. He is the lone survivor and he saw an evil like no other.

Preliminary Reports
Todd Johnson, the father, has ownership in several Sonic restaurants in the area. He was very well known along with his wife, Sheila.
I pray that our law enforcement will do a complete investigation.
At this time, our Sheriff is saying that it looks like Todd killed his family while an ex-employee he had hired to steal jewelry from his home for insurance purposes hid in the garage. Todd had asked the ex Sonic employee to help him kill the family, but he "chickened" out. When the employee heard the family being murdered, he took one of Todd's vehicles and left the scene. Todd then drove his other vehicle to the quarry, shot himself and drove off the embankment.
Everyone I speak with tells me they don't believe Todd could do this. Many say this was one of the most "functional" families they have ever met.
The murders here in Lebanon have become all-too common. Could it be that our system is "broke"? Will Sheriff Wrinkle and all others involved investigate this properly? I hope and pray that they do! As a person who has seen no justice in this community, I pray that this family will.

What a nightmare for that precious child! whew! He is alive and that is wonderful, but he is going to need lots of help and prayer to get past this in any way! Brrrrrrrr
I knew this couple 12 years ago they were nice people. I worked with Todd. I knew he had crime in his past but seamed to get past that. What a bad thing to happen.

I knew Sheila and Todd for 23 years. They were wonderful loving people. Todd served his time for the crimes he committed and came out reformed. He was a genuinely nice man who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. There is no way I will ever believe he murdered his best friend, his son, him self and left one child alive to suffer the consequences. This was not Todd! There is much more to the story and I smell a rat. The sonic employee needs to be investigated a little more. It's quite strange that someone would hang out in a garage for six hours waiting to steal jewelry that probably never existed (Sheila was NOT a jewelry person). Then after six hours he stole Todd's truck and just happened to be at the house of the person who was contacted to check in on the family. Again, I smell a rat. To Todd, Sheila, Blake and especially Brice. You are all in my prayers and I will continue to pray for you until the truth comes out.
I knew them both and Todd and I had been friends since 1976. We were neighbors and classmates. He had a very dark side to him and a greed that was like none other that I have ever encountered in my life. The truth is that darkness hides in the most unsuspecting of places and often in plain sight.
Waste no time wondering if Todd was innocent. He was the devil in disuqise.
I worked with Todd for approximately 7 years. I went on vacations with Todd and his family and other co-workers. They got along great, I never saw any signs of problems. I have wondered off and on since I heard about this if any more investigating would uncover "something". yet, I NEVER hear of any more news. I am sure all are wondering how someone could be there to help kill his family OR just be in the garage for that long and NOT be charged in ANY crime. In what world does someone shoot himself in the head with a shotgun while the car is in drive? I guess it could happen, but these thigns and many more have me questioning the "investigation".
I think this would make for a freat 60 minutes "investigative" show. At least then, some real investigating would happen and "maybe" some more truth would come of it.
I pray for the baby who lived who will probably never really know what happened.....
it is kept private and only family knows the details of this murder, todd is an evil man and put a lot of hurt on us. Pipi and Blake will forever be in my heart and I miss them every day, I will never forgive that man for what he did to my family.
