Before The World Ends

Many predictions have been made that this year will see the end of the world as we know it. I have reservations on agreeing with those predictions, but I must admit I have seen many peculiar occurrences that do point towards that possibility.

I am a firm believer that the Holy Bible has the answer to everything in life. One of those answers is discussed: Matthew 24:36 is very clear; it says no man knows the day or time; not angels and not even the Son; only the Father.

We are still told to recognize the signs. I recall that it says there will be wars and rumors of wars. We have wars going on all over this world right now.

It also says there will be many earthquakes in divers places. I am living in Puerto Rico at this time and earthquakes are in abundance in the ocean; in divers places. Want to see the earthquakes happening daily? Just follow the link below:

There is so much I would like to do before this world ends.

Am I scared? I believe I can honestly say no. I put my faith and trust in our risen Savior and Lord: Jesus Christ.

Over the years; mainly before I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior, I hurt people in a lot of ways. I would dearly like to make amends to so many people and I pray that God will show me a way.

Mom, I know I have hurt you many times over. I know you read these hubs and I must tell you I am very, very sorry for the pain I have given you throughout life. I know like the blessed Mother you are, you have forgiven me time and time again, but I still have to tell you once again: I am sorry.

Dad, We have had our differences, but I need to tell you I have always respected anything you have said. Even when you didn't think I was listening, I was. Though we didn't know each other as well as we probably should of, I learned many things from you. I too, must ask your forgiveness for the hurts and pains I have caused you. I dearly wish we could have had more time together.

My Only Brother: Rodney, I beg your forgiveness in many ways. I was not the big brother I should have been. I mislead you down some bad paths. I am very happy you grew into the man you are today because if you would have kept following my paths... Well you know.

Manny and Eric: My sons, I could have been a much better Father I know. I also know that you feel I have abandoned you and your children. Just know that I am in deep prayer about that situation and may we come to terms in our relationships again. I am quite proud of both of you and the lives you lead now. May you always be blessed by God in all you do.

Amy: My lovely daughter, You have been through so much and I know I didn't help some matters. I also beg your forgiveness. I know you have become a parent that both your mother and I will be proud of throughout eternity. Keep going strong and don't let the past interrupt any of your future!

My Grandchildren: Madison, Jonathan, Elijah, Peyton and Gianna, I have not deserted you and with prayers and God's will, I will see and hold you all soon. I love you all. Jonathan, if you can see this, please know that Pawpaw really wishes he would have fought harder for you. Grandpa still hurts badly from knowing the pain you suffered, but I also know that you are in Heaven now. Please forgive me for not fighting harder.

My Extended Family and Friends, I was a "black sheep" I know and I seek all your forgiveness. Grandma, you were always right there for me along with all the aunts and uncles. I apologize for not being a better part of the family and for sometimes "using" you. I beg your forgiveness. I also have had some very good friends that may be feeling like I deserted them, for that I am sorry. I wish you all many blessings from God and that only good will come in all your lives.

There are many more people I have probably hurt in time and I hope they can see and know that I have changed. God has done so much for me.

Last of all:

Maggie, I have probably said and done things that have hurt you. Maybe this hub will even hurt in some ways. Please know that no matter what: I dearly love you. You have shown me so much and have both laughed and cried with me. I know not where our paths are going to lead from here, but I do know that eternity with God is your true path and I pray that we walk it together; but most important is God's will and I pray that first. I love you!

I will not give up writing.

God has blessed me with this talent and I pray that all times I use it just for Him.

I seek all your prayers.

I will not make any more goals except that I just follow God's will in and for my life daily.

Please God, help me to also forgive as I am asking others to forgive my shortcomings. In Jesus' name I pray.

I truly believe that God's plan is not for an ending, but a new beginning.

Let us not react in chaos and fear to predictions.

Let us have faith and do what we need to do and may God's will be done!
