These candle-light vigils are a good way to get the word out that child abuse needs to be stopped and the abusers need to be convicted. They should not be walking around. How can anyone abuse a innocent little child who cannot protect themselves?? Thanks to the "Bikers Against Child Abuse" for all you are doing for this cause.

I applaude you all for the stand you are taking to help and support children of abuse. Having been a victim myself, I know how important that is. My concern, however, is this- how do you know, or does it make a difference, if the child making accusations is lying? What do you guys do then?

A man is being held in Dallas County on totally false statutory rape charges. He is not perfect, but he never laid a hand on those children in the way they are being told to say. He has no money to use for his own defense, because for the last few years, everything he made has gone to his wife's medical bills. He has sacrificed everything to make this conniving woman and her ungrateful kids happy, but it has never been enough. At his preliminary hearing, a group from BACA showed up, glaring at the accused and frightening his family. It's not bad enough that this poor innocent man's life has been hell for the last several years because of everything his wife and stepkids have already done, not even relating to this. Now he is being lied about in court and crucified because his vindictive wife and her family want to destroy him and his family. Threats have been made by his wife and lies told by her and her kids throughout their marriage. Her children have been caught in lie after lie, after lie at church, school, and home, but nothing was ever done about them. These charges are totally and completely false! Unfortunately, the damage has already been done to his reputation, his job, and his soul. Even if there's any way to finally clear his name in the court, he will never again be able live the life he has tried to make for himself. His name will forever be associated with this.

How do you deal with situations like this, where your organization is being used to intimidate and bring bad publicity to a man who has done none of the things he's being accused of? Is there any way to make ammends or be sure you aren't wasting time and energies to encourage children who are making false accusations for attention? What if these children are destroying this man simply because their mother is angry with him? What if you found out that the mother has been 'dallying' with members of the local law enforcement for years and these same men are now in charge of detaining her husband?

These children have never shown any fear of trepidation around the accused. Having been a victim of abuse for years myself, I can sense when things aren't right. I have helped bring a few child abusers to court myself and have at times been the only one who had any inclination something terrible was happening to a child, and been proven right. NEVER, in all the times I have been around the accused in this case, have I ever seen, heard, or felt anything that set off my 'alarm bells'.

This whole situation is just so wrong!! What can we do?

M. Clark, BACA does not decide who is guilty or innocent, that is up to the judge and jury. Thank God we do not have to make that call. Our only mission is to empower the child to tell their story without being threaten or intimidated. Our people have choose to make a stand to protect these children to the point of taking a bullet for them. The only way we would have contact with the accused if is they try and "get" to one of our kids. At that point we will react as you might think any motorcycle group would.Every perp we have had dealings with, claims they are innocent even as they haul them off to prison. We let the legal system work. We have found out that child molesters come in all shapes and sizes and are smooth talkers, that is how they get to these children. Mentl, I wish you luck on your (path to a patch). I am sure you know its an honor to wear this cut. The people before you have set the bar very high. You will go through heartbreak, sadness and rage as you help these kids. But you will feel the power of our work the first time you hold a child that for the first time feels safe. To see the life come back to them will bring you to tears, yes bikers have tears that why they wear sunglasses, don't ever mistake that for weakness. My dear friend,

For many years, I've had a paedophile in my (extended family) without wanting to acknowledge it.

The last 5 yrs without success, I have tried to expose this paedophile (without his victim’s support)

who I believe is still using his wealth and influence in our community to manipulate his victim's silence.

(“until his victim's come forward to police there is nothing our police can do,” they tell me, and that's why we must change our laws).

You may wish to help protect our children, by politely and peacefully asking our politicians to introduce laws that all convicted paedophiles have their assets confiscated and sold, as we do now with

Drugs and Car Hoons, (So why not paedophiles ?)

The proceeds be claimed to help fund medical science research into Paedophilia, our over worked police force, and realistically compensate victims, victim’s families, paedophiles family, and associates,

( Scientist's need this money to find the Human Gene that makes Adults attracted to children, and turn it off ).

If the wife, child or associate of a convicted paedaphile was realistically compensated,

I believe more victims would come forward to police for help.

Example: If the paedophile controls the money and assets, a mother, child or associate, maybe reluctant to expose that paedophile, if exposing him is going to leave them homeless, or left without employment.

Case History: A person in 1979, was found to have committed sexual acts with many under age children and not one of them had reported him to the police. (We must break this code of silent guilt and stigma used against victims).

(Children’s Commission of Qld `Paedophilia in Queensland report 5 August 1997).

We can’t stop Men / Women desiring each other, DNA built them that way.

We can’t stop Gays / Lesbians desiring each other, DNA built them that way.

We can’t stop paedophiles desiring children; DNA built them that way, ( This, we must stop).

(paedophiles don't have a sign on their foreheads, politicians, Judges, lawyers, social workers,down to street sweepers can be a paedaphile).

Until we can stop paedophiles feeding on our children, lets stop the silent guilt and help remove the stigma

of being a victim and convince our politicians to change the laws so parents can stand up for their children.

Don’t wait 20 years to be told someone you love has been hurt, It’s to late by then.

Paedophile's believe that Paedophilia will eventually become the “ norm “ in society as gays and lesbians are now,

I hope this will not eventuate, Children are not partners to paedophiles, children are victims, just like any other rape victim.

We need a DNA solution to a DNA problem, and politicians that will actually change our laws, not just talk about it.

Just wanted to say thank you. BACA was behind me in my case and i dont think thank you is enough for the way u all made me feel. Was very comforting at a bad time. so again thank you all for what u do everyday.
