Days and nights are jumbled together. The sleep comes at irregular times. My thoughts race to and fro and dreams are a plenty. There are good dreams and bad dreams; but there are dreams and for that I am grateful. I was once told that when we stop dreaming is when we are dead no matter if our heart is beating, or not.
Many of my dreams are about the afterlife and Heaven. It should be no surprise to people with the fact that my wife of 30 years passed on not long ago.
I was at a standstill on what I should write about today. I knew I had a desire to write, but had no idea what to write about. I opened the questions and lo and behold, I happened across this question by FaithDream. What are my thoughts of Heaven?
The dreams I have are not of streets of gold or flashing diamonds. I don't picture multiple little naked angels playing harps and singing. So sorry my Baptist friends. I don't picture people dressed as the Pope bowing and kissing the hands of our Lord. I must also apologize to my Catholic friends on that one.
No, my dream is one that is actually quite Biblical too. Let us look at the scripture I refer to:
But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 19:14
These are the Words straight from Jesus.
My picture of Heaven?
Children
My picture of Heaven is children. Children playing and no worries of abuse or molestation. No money worries, where ice cream is so wonderful. A carnival every day. We all are children again, loving and playing and listening to stories from our Savior and King, Jesus.
Really it's all so simple, not difficult like it is here on Earth.
This is my thoughts and dreams of Heaven. We will all be children, because children are pure an innocent until adults teach them sin.
I hope this is a good enough answer. Only God knows, but from what I read in the Bible, Heaven will be children.

This is really cool. I was always wondering what age everyone would be when we meet once again. You answered the question. Everyone will be children again. I like that! It makes perfect sense too.

For me I have always felt Children are OUR Angels here on earth. Pure, simple, trusting, innocent ,non- judgmental offering LOVE...your dreams seem real enough to me...God Bless You my dear...:O) Hugs G-Ma
