I Am Last
45There has been a big push lately for "I am second". I commend all for this, in that, they are trying to show Jesus to the unsaved.
I was recently sent this video and must say it is well made.
Please watch it and I will explain my position after.
Where I Am
Good video Colt and Sam!
I, personally, am at a different level with Jesus.
I Am Last!
All others come before me. First and foremost, God in the Holy Trinity; my family and friends; children; and seeing all men come to know Jesus.
At times I slip up and catch myself worrying about what I will get or what I want. I then realize that it isn't about me.
Jesus died on the cross for all of us, not just me. I know the way and have accepted His Holiness in my heart. I have nothing to fret now. What I do fret is that you don't know Him.
Jesus IS the way!
Come join me and be last.
It's easy, just ask Jesus to give you a heart for Him. Read your Bible and do what His Spirit tells you.
Any questions, just mail me or ask in comments.
It's fun being last!

Nice and short
"the last shall be first" - it's a kingdom principle
Short and to the point.
Perfect! Just sometimes easier to say than to do...
I agree, understand the Scripture clearly, and don't intend this to be an argumentative comment. I heard this discussed briefly in church the other night, and there was something that struck me about the way it was sort of "attacked" for not being more clear about our "position" in regards to God and others. Again, I understand what it means to be "last" instead of "second". I understand that Christians should come to know this concept clearly, both in Scripture, and in teachings about it. However, the "I Am Second" movement is not attempting to interpret Scripture, and makes no claims that they are teaching anything. They are merely putting up testimonies from people who are in the public eye. In my opinion, and from my own experience, this is more than many "Christians" do themselves. If we see something like this, should we really be making it a point to find something wrong with it? It seems to me we'd be better "prepared to share in any season", and be the "one" who "waters" if we simply saw this as an outreach that may begin to break the ice in a increasingly cold world.
Let a new believer come to me and declare, "I am second". I'm certainly prepared to further their understanding, and help he/she understand more about the teachings of Christ.
After all, "whoever is not against you, is for you".
