My Take On It All
When I was a young man, I didn't know what to believe on this subject. I really didn't care. I was living for the there and then. "What's in it for me" was my main motto. I lived a life of reckless abandonment; always another thrill around every corner. Why haven't I died? That in itself is a miracle.
Well, to get to the main point, I believe in both Heaven and Hell.
Before you shut me off because of my beliefs, please let me explain.
I hear many, many people say they belive there is a Heaven and everyone is going there. They say there is no Hell. Where exactly they got that misinformation is beyond me. Well, actually not; most likely Lucifer had involvement.
For those of you that don't believe the way I do, I am not here to argue or debate. I just am explaining my position.
The Word of God
I believe the Bible is the literal Word of God.
For those of you about to say that it has been translated so many times that things have been screwed up. Do you really think an all-powerful God would allow such a thing? Either way, I do study the Hebrew and Greek too. You can too at the link to the right. Biblos is a great site.
I will share some of the scriptures and why there is a real Hell. Scroll on down.
Luke 12:5--But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
Why would this be said if there wasn't a real Hell?
Matthew 23:33--Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
Yes people will go to Hell.
Matthew 16:18--And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
This speaks for itself. We are Peter's church if we trust and have faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I could go on and on; verse after verse. Instead, read the Word yourself.
How To Stay Out of Hell.
God made it very simple for us to stay out of Hell. It is called grace. It is called mercy.
You see, none of us are good enough. No matter what you do on this Earth, you won't be good enough to enter Heaven. That is why Jesus came and died on a cross; a cross that our sins were emplanted with God's only Son. If it was my son on that cross, I would have wiped everyone out.
God loves us and allowed us to kill His Son.
The key to that is: He arose and is alive. He is seated next to our Father in Heaven.
Very simply, just ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart, mind and soul. Ask your sin's be forgiven. He will! Ask this in the name of Jesus and you will be out of Hell.
Please find a good church home. I recommend being baptised as it is a reflection of your new found faith. Talk with God constantly. It works!
God just wants us to put Him before other junk. Life doesn't just become perfect, but you will deal with situations much better.
Again, for those of you that still are sceptical, that is fine. I really don't want to debate or argue. You sure won't change my stance and I would say that if you still feel that way after reading this, I won't change your stance.
I will say that after losing my 23 month old Grandson to a senseless act has given me a whole new respect for our Father. To endure watching mankind killing your Son would be the ultimate.
All I ask is to sit back and think on this. There is a real Heaven and there is a real HELL too. Don't be deceived.

Nice display
All we can do is share the truth. We are called to do so while we're here and if even one person receives the truth, all heaven rejoices! Thank you for being bold enough (holy boldness) to write on this very "avoided" topic.
Nice job. I agree with your perspective on hell. I believe that Jesus saw hell as a literal place to be avoided. He didn't think of it as allegorical. He was actually very clear on the subject. I wrote a hub on this topic as well. Thanks!
