Miles Of Smiles

It is so easy anymore to fall into fits of depression and misery. It seems everywhere you look you will see negative. I can name a few:

• the economy
• politics
• crime and more crime
• Iran
• Afghanistan
• Israel
• deaths

On and on we see negative. Turn on the news or the internet and negative will reach out and grab you. Listen to the neighbor screaming and negative will grab you. Drive in a traffic jam and negative will grab you. In many cases, for many people, going to their jobs, negative grabs them.

Do you get tired of negative? I do!

How about smiles? How often do you smile. If you really think and look close, like me, I bet you have miles of smiles.

I was just considering some of the smiles I have had just today.

I have heard it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. I believe I will be lazy today and not use my muscles to frown at all.

I am going to share my smiles with you all today.

No negative-just positive.

Try it; you may like it too! Take a moment and think about what makes you smile.

Here are my examples:

I awoke and looked at her beauty.

As she turned to look at me, I saw the love in her eyes.

The lovely Puerto Rican butterfly I wed.

She brings a big smile to my face.

My Maggie; my Lastheart; my Maggie Soy Libre; You are beautiful and I love you dearly.

It warms my heart as we read the Bible together 3 times daily and brings multiple smiles to my face.

Thank you for making me smile. I love you.

I stroll outside and the sun had just come out.

A plant I had sowed a few weeks back has a flower.

The smile warms my face as I look closely at the beautiful yellow flower.

I look closer and I see a small ant also enjoying this work of God.

I planted and God watered and fed.

Another wonder to smile about!

As I feed and water our pets, I get a smile.

Three cats, all outside and one chihuahua which stays in.

They each have their own personality and they can find a way to bring a smile to my face no matter what.

Pets are from God and I believe pets go to Heaven too!

I am miles away from them, but they still bring a smile.

I thank Facebook and my children for taking pictures and putting them there.

Grand children's smiles bring this Pawpaw smiles.

Even though we are miles apart, it feels as I am with them. I look forward to a day soon when I can hold and hug them.

I love you my children; Manny, Eric and Amy and the mates they chose: Amy, Jessica and Lorenzo.

I love you my Grand kids; Madison, Elijah, Gianna and Peyton; and I will never forget you either little Jonathan who is in Heaven.

Just to look at this wonderful view each day brings a smile.

Puerto Rico has so much beauty.

It is miles of smiles.

There are smiles all around if you just look.

Miles of smiles; so turn off the negative and look at the positive and have a smile today!
