They have to start somewhere.
Some make it big and some don't.
This hub is being made those guys and gals who spent many hours practicing in their garages.
I will share videos and pictures.
Many a parent heard," Dad, can you leave the car out? We're having practice tonight."

1960's
These first guys went huge-The Barbarians
The Castaways
Do you remember the Castaways. Garage band all the way.
The Five Americans
Straight from the garage into stardom; The Five Americans.
Amboy Dukes
Word is that these guys started in a garage. Do you recognize the lead guitarist? It's Ted Nugent.

The Fleshtones
1970's
These guys started there career in a garage. The Fleshtones.
The Hentchmen
A Seattle based band, they showed the world what a true newer garage band is.
Take a listen to The Hentchmen.
The Nomads
Another newer garage band was the Nomads. They became quite popular.
Make Sure There's a Garage
As you can see there are many bands who made it big by starting in a garage.
