The F.H.T.M. Scam
62
I had written off the $170 I had "lost" to what I felt was my stupidity when I got involved with a multi-marketing company called Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing, or F.H.T.M. for short.
It all started right after our house burned in Lebanon, Missouri and we moved to O'Fallon, Missouri. I took a sub-contractor job with a company called Cullivour Construction. The owner, first name Larry, told me he would use my first check to sign me up for this F.H.T.M. I didn't like the idea, as my wife was in the hospital and times were tough, but he gave me no choice. My wife died just a month later.
I was told that I would start receiving checks from the investment every quarter. I was told that I should try to get more investors, but even without I would get money. All I have ever received from them is 4 bottles of vitamins and minerals.
So why do I write this bad review?
I keep receiving e-mails from this scam. I wrote them and explained my displeasure and that I had "written" it off and to stop sending e-mails. The e-mails kept coming so I called. I explained how I had been scammed and all the person could say is, "You had 7 days to cancel". I told her to stop the e-mails and if they didn't, I would write a bad review of their organization.
The e-mails keep coming, so this is the review.
Don't let F.H.T.M. take your hard-earned money!
They took mine!
They are liars, cheats and thieves and prey on those who are down-trodden.
The links below show how others have been taken.
I hope someday the F.B.I. takes this scam down.
You may also want to stay away from Cullivour Construction-He runs a shady operation too and the I.R.S. will probably get him soon.
I am a Christian and I pray that all these people come to know Jesus, but that doesn't mean we should just let it go, after all, more people could get hurt by them. I pray God will wake them up to the pain they are causing others.

You need to get your local labor board / contractor's board involved. Your boss was obviously in it and he's abusing his status as employer to recruit you into this pyramid scheme. That is fraud, and he needs to lose his license and other stuff.
Ask everybody else who's on the job to see if they also lost money this way.
When one is presented with a hardship, one can create an opportunity... We have the choice build upon the experience. Perhaps your sharing will make a difference.
This larry fellow sounds like a real jerk. actually just a crook. Good luck to you.
Wow...I went to a FHTM meeting tonight that a really good friend invited me to, and I almost signed up. Something told me to do my "due diligence" and look into this closely before I sign up. I have spent 3 hours investigating this tonight and have found way more negative things than positive. They barely spoke about the products they sell. They actually said, "you will make your money getting people recruited, so don't focus on selling the products". Well...guess what...that is an ILLEGAL pyramid scheme!!! The just use the products to make it look legal. I prayed about this when I was in the meeting, "God, if this is NOT A GOOD THING, then please help me to see it. Don't let me get into a bad thing." Well, He has answered that prayer. My friend will definitely try to still get me involved, and it is sad because she is a great Christian woman and friend. She has just had the wool pulled over her eyes and doesn't see the bad in this yet. Guess she will find out eventually. She even promised me that she would give me my money back if it didn't work for her. Can't do it though. Do not want to get involved with something I feel is WRONG!! Sorry this happened to you Froggy.

You shouldn't just LET people take advantage of you like that, Greg.. Your "employer" had absolutely no right to decide where you would spend your paycheck... You're smarter than that. Fortune High Tech marketing has been around for years, it's Lebanons re-occurring Pyramid Scheme...
