The Ghosts of Auto's Past

The government never bailed these ones out.
Scroll down and learn about a few of the defunct car manufacturer's.
New York Car and Truck Company
This company was known for making the Allen Kingston. This was a car designed with European styles. The car was manufactured from 1907-1909.
You don't hear much about the New York Car and Truck Company.

Haynes Automobile Company
Based in Kokomo, Indiana, Haynes produced cars from 1905-1924.
From a look at the dates, I would say the Great Depression was a major contributor to Haynes not staying in business.
This is just a few of the defunct automobile manufacturers. I don't see anywhere where our government helped bail them out. Why are we doing it for manufacturers now?
I hope our representatives take a good look at this bailout. Will it really do any good?
Well, I've spouted enough, it seems our government will do what they want to do, even if the majority think it's the wrong thing to do.
Thanks for reading my hub and may God save our nation from economic disaster!

Biddle was incorporated in October 1915 and was absorbed by Crane of Crane Simplex into the Biddle-Crane which lasted only to 1922.
the photo of the car with the Biddle info is a Hudson.

Perhaps the info you found related to the Biddle and Smart body builders, as opposed to an automobile manufacturer, who made elegant bodies for the Hudsons of the thirties.
