The Safest Place On Earth

I was looking through the answer section of hubpages and found a question by eye say. He asked where the safest place on Earth to live was. I must agree with the two answers posted that with God everywhere is safe and without Him, you are safe nowhere, but for the sake of just picking a place I studied hard.

There are many places that are safer than many others. I wrote a hub about living in the 3rd deadliest city in the United States-St. Louis, so these types of hubs are familiar to me.

After much study, I believe I have located the safest place on Earth. Unless you are a top scientist though, I doubt you will be able to move there. I may have a distant family member that could be there if crap hits the fan though. Kurt Boudonck is a renowned scientist and author of many biology articles.

On an island far from civilization in the freezing arctic is the safest place on Earth. It is located in Longyearbyen, Norway. It is called the Svalsgaard Doomsday Seed Vault.

Powers that be thought it very important that we provide a way to start anew if all hell breaks loose on Earth. Seeds are the most important thing they contemplate. There are seeds for trees, plants and so forth. Any seed that may be needed for food supply and so forth.

The vault is deep below ground and can withstand earthquakes and nuclear war.

There have been other seed banks that have been attacked by humans. This one cannot unless someone would manage to get inside and even then, with the security, it would be difficult.

The vault maintains a zero degree temperature through fans and generators. If they would go out, it would survive a long time beings it is in the arctic.

The only way any of these seeds would be released is if all other forms were gone.

Scientists estimate that these seeds could survive at zero degrees for approximately 19,000 years.

Yep, Svalsgaard is the safest place on Earth; but not for you, unless you are a tomato seed.

As I said in the first paragraph, our safety can come from God through Jesus Christ. As danger and perils are all around us, He is our protection and guiding force. He made the Earth and He knows how many hairs each of us have.

Want safety?

Bow to God and ask His grace and mercy on your life. He Will because He sent His Son, Jesus Christ to pay the price. Ask Jesus into your heart and no matter where you are, you will be in the safest place on Earth!
