Why God; Why?

The Big Question
I have asked this question over and over. I'm sure many other people have too.
It all came to me just recently; who am I to question our almighty God?
Did He cause Jonathan's death? No He didn't.
God has an ultimate plan. What would happen if he made everything just go perfect on this world? God would then be a liar.
You see, God gave us freewill. We choose our courses and paths.
When was the last time you made a universe in your hands?
I just finished reading the book "The Shack" which helped me immensely.
We have many, many people who think their way is the "right" way. There are those that think the population is getting to bad that we as mankind should control it. It's ok in their minds to abort a baby just as long as it's not a relative of theirs. It's ok that a child was killed as long as not related to them. After all the population is getting to bad.
It goes with the elderly too. Some of these people believe its fine to just let the old people just die. I bet it would be different if it was their Mother or Father.
God just wants us all to love and trust in Him. If we were to all do that, don't you think we would treat each other in a better way?
What would happen if we all cared about each other instead of worrying what we are putting in our bank accounts for 10 years from now?
I won't ask why God anymore. His plan I am sure is for the good of all of us.
I know that our Father could have kept Jonathan alive, but what other plans would have been diminished by doing so? I know I have a closer walk with God now as does many of my family members.
I seriously doubt that if Jonathan would not have been killed that I would write about God for the whole world to see. I have seen where Jonathan in the two years of life has led more people closer to God than most people will within their 70 years.
Today is the anniversary of Jonathan's flight to heaven. I have cried and prayed; prayed and cried so much already today and its only 9:30 am. I ask your prayers.
May justice be for Jonathan and may the children who are still alive and in bad situations be protected. I ask that in Jesus name but more than all Father, let Your will be done.
These are some quotes that I have found that fit, thanks for your prayers:
Any fool can count the seeds in an apple. Only God can count all the apples in one seed. ~Robert H. Schuller
Young man, young man, your arm's too short to box with God. ~James Weldon Johnson
God is not a cosmic bellboy for whom we can press a button to get things done. ~Harry Emerson Fosdick
God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame. ~Elizabeth Barrett Browning
God is not what you imagine or what you think you understand. If you understand you have failed. ~Saint Augustine

Greg!
I am so proud of the way that you are leaning on God for your strength...because it is ONLY through Him that we can cope with anything that comes our way! I love to see how your heart has grown closer and closer to God in the past 2 years! What a witness you have! Johnathan, I know, is so proud of his grandaddy! :) You and Jonda are such a blessing to our family!!! I am praying for you both today!
Love you all!
Julie
Jesus says "I am enough" ... trust totally in Him and He will be all you ever need Him to be.

Yes, I see it as you do. God will see you thru!, Blessings Bro!
I am so glad that you feel God's hand upon your lives, it is truly amazing that even in the face of such questions like 'why God why?' His grace is sufficient even without having the answer to this question. May God bless you and keep you.
Thank you for sharing your pain and your faith.
This past month, I lost a dear friend and a brother-in-law to cancer. It was such an unexpected loss. I didn't realize that they'd go a lot sooner than later. Though I'm left to live with "the big question" whose answer escapes us, I know that I rest in a Big God who will never forsake us. As He comforts us in our loss, we are enabled to comfort others who share in that same loss (1 Cor 1:4). Keep hubbing and comforting the HubPages community as the Lord gives you the supernatural strength to do so. God bless you Froggy213.
Why do we always make excuses, when god does not, answer our prayers.or things go wrong.we let him off the hook. All the time? You tell me
This is what I mean,u are making excuses for him.it is easy to use. Words and scripture to make him look good.u are giving me answers from your point of view. Which is what u as a Human thinks.
